Prime time TV networks are starting to squirm at the idea of giving the Cleveland Browns FIVE games on National television this season. Playing on ESPN tonight for a Pre-Season spotlight game, the Browns are getting destroyed by the defending Champion New York Giants 30-3 early in the 2nd quarter.Giants QB Eli Manning has thrown for 2 TD passes, while Pro Bowl QB Derek Anderson has left the game after suffering a concussion from a grueling sack by DE Usi Umenyiora.
The Browns look flat. They are dropping passes, missing tackles, making penalties and had a punt blocked for a safety. On the ensuing play they gave up an 82 yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Domenik Hixon (his 3rd TD of the game).
